About the job

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting production by keeping line equipment operating safely, efficiently, and reliably. This role works directly on the production line and transitions to preventive maintenance (PM), troubleshooting, and repair activities as needed. The Maintenance Technician plays a key role in minimizing downtime, ensuring product quality, and supporting company safety and performance goals. Additional responsibilities as assigned.


Key Responsibilities

  • Work on the production line until maintenance or repair is needed.

  • Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on production equipment according to schedules.

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues quickly to minimize downtime.

  • Support production changeovers, setups, and adjustments to equipment.

  • Accurately document maintenance work, parts usage, and downtime.

  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and company policies while working on or around equipment.

  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and equipment reliability.

  • Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications as directed.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.

  • Communicate equipment status, issues, and needs promptly to the supervisor.

  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure seamless workflow.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.

  • 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, industrial maintenance, or mechanical repair preferred.

  • Bottling line experience preferred.

  • Ability to read and follow preventive maintenance schedules and work orders.

  • Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

  • Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.

  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform hands-on work for extended periods.

  • Lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs regularly.

  • Tolerate working in environments with varying temperatures, humidity, and noise levels.

The compensation range is $25–$35/hr + benefits (group health, dental, vision, life, AD&D, short/long term disability, flex spending account, + voluntary coverages).
