The Blending Technician is responsible for preparing and mixing beverage batches according to precise
formulations and quality standards. This role plays a critical part in ensuring consistency, safety, and accuracy
throughout the blending process while supporting production schedules and company quality goals. Additional
responsibilities as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

  • Measure, stage, and add ingredients according to batch sheets and recipes.
  • Operate blending and mixing equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor blending processes to ensure product consistency and quality.
  • Perform in-process quality checks, including measurements, samples, and adjustments as needed.
  • Accurately document all blending activities, lot numbers, and ingredient usage.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and quality control procedures.
  • Set up, operate, and clean blending equipment in compliance with SOPs.
  • Report mechanical issues to maintenance and assist with troubleshooting as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
  • Work closely with Quality Assurance, Bottling, and Production teams to ensure seamless workflow.
  • Communicate any deviations, shortages, or issues to the Blending Supervisor promptly.
  • Assist in training new team members on blending procedures and safety practices.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
  • 1+ year of experience in food, beverage, or chemical manufacturing preferred.
  • Ability to follow precise instructions, recipes, and safety protocols.
  • Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment setup and troubleshooting.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
  • Lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Tolerate working in environments with varying temperatures, humidity, and noise levels.
