About the job

The Blending Technician is responsible for preparing and mixing beverage batches according to precise
formulations and quality standards. This role plays a critical part in ensuring consistency, safety, and accuracy
throughout the blending process while supporting production schedules and company quality goals. Additional
responsibilities as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

Measure, stage, and add ingredients according to batch sheets and recipes.
Operate blending and mixing equipment safely and efficiently.
Monitor blending processes to ensure product consistency and quality.
Perform in-process quality checks, including measurements, samples, and adjustments as needed.
Accurately document all blending activities, lot numbers, and ingredient usage.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and quality control procedures.
Set up, operate, and clean blending equipment in compliance with SOPs.
Report mechanical issues to maintenance and assist with troubleshooting as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
Work closely with Quality Assurance, Bottling, and Production teams to ensure seamless workflow.
Communicate any deviations, shortages, or issues to the Blending Supervisor promptly.
Assist in training new team members on blending procedures and safety practices.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
1+ year of experience in food, beverage, or chemical manufacturing preferred.
Ability to follow precise instructions, recipes, and safety protocols.
Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment setup and troubleshooting.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
Lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs regularly.
Tolerate working in environments with varying temperatures, humidity, and noise levels.
